If I want to keep putting pictures on here, I will have to do it unedited.  I realize I don't have time to make them all look perfect...

Thanksgiving Day morning--smiling like I'm not sleep-deprived.

Tyler was ready to eat way before everyone else.

Shawn devoured the wing

How I spend most of my time--nursing the baby while shoveling down food.

Look at that bird!  We were fortunate to have a Heritage turkey from Prairie Heritage Farm for our meal (see website on left)

Jess and Jason made it down for the weekend

the big day wore this little turkey out

My mini-adventure

Shawn shot a buck yesterday, and he invited me to go along today to pack it out. Woohoo! I got out of the house while the boys were baby-sat by Grammy and Pop-pop.

View down the mountain to our house.
Prepping the deer to pack it out

Loaded up and headed down to the house

Boys boys

Babies have such clear eyes.  This is Angel-boy Cash in a moment of contentment.

What to do on a snowy, windy day?  Line up all your cars and trucks.
Note to self...Tyler doesn't need any more cars for Christmas.

Weekend

My fuzzy bear Cash and I.  We have matching white fleece.  (and that is snow in my hair...)

Tyler posing in front of the snow we recently got.  Elmo is keeping his head warm.

Baby boy getting sleepy around dinner time.
Too bad he is on "newborn" schedule (awake and asleep every 3 hours)

Brothers!

Two are better than one!
Tyler loves his baby brother, except when he is crying, and when I am wrapped up nursing.
(which ends up being most of the time)
We're happy to be healthy and home, and are looking forward to the next few weeks for Cash to grow stronger and the crazy life that we are now living will become normal.

A Mother's Song

We had baby boy Cash William on 11/4.
This poem sums it up for me:

Mother's Song--a Traditional Lullaby

My heart is like a fountain true
That flows and flows with love to you.
As chirps the lark unto the tree
...So chirps my pretty babe to me.

There's not a rose where'er I seek,
As comely as my baby's cheek.
There's not a comb of honey-bee,
So full of sweets as babe to me.

There's not a star that shines on high,
Is brighter than my baby's eye.
There's not a boat upon the sea,
Can dance as baby does to me.

No silk was ever spun so fine
As is the hair of baby mine.
My baby smells more sweet to me
Than smells in spring the elder tree.

A little fish swims in the well,
So in my heart does baby dwell.
A little flower blows on the tree,
My baby is the flower to me.

The Queen has sceptre, crown and ball,
You are my sceptre, crown and all.
For all her robes of royal silk,
More fair your skin, as white as milk.

Ten thousand parks where deer do run,
Ten thousand roses in the sun,
Ten thousand pearls beneath the sea,
My babe more precious is to me.

And I am missing my other baby Tyler, who is at home with Grandma.  Love them both more than words can say.

Today is my due date.
And yes, I am still pregnant.
